Our webcam deployment to Mountain Park showcases the latest
and greatest of UEB’s in house webcam system. We now have the ability to
install the camera at any point on the site, regardless of the availability of
power and data. Our self contained system uses solar power to run the
camera and provide a wireless link back to the TARDIS located in the trailer.
This means that we can get a time lapse and live stream from the best angle of
your building, not just from where we’ve located our construction trailer.

UEB Breaks Ground on New Mountain Park Health Center - Gateway Campus
UEB is pround to announce the recent groundbreaking for the new Mountain Park Health Center - Gateway Campus. Designed by architecture firm SmithGroupJJR, Mountain Park Gateway’s location at 3838 E. Van Buren in Phoenix is centrally located to provide access to affordable healthcare for families living in the surrounding neighborhoods. Mountain Park facilities provide an emphasis on five core services — family medicine, pediatric services, women’s healthcare, pharmacy and dental care. In the new Gateway facility you can expect the space to feel open, bright and inviting. Vibrant colors and cheerful artwork by area students will complete the look. Outside, children who are waiting to see a doctor can play on the playground, which will also be open after-hours, building community and fostering physical activity among children in the area. We sincerely appreciate this opportunity and are excited about the potential of positively impacting the community and it is our firm commitment to apply the ability, dedication, and passion of our team toward the creation of lasting beauty and dependability in the newest Mountain Park Health Center.

UEB Project News – Time-lapse of Tilt Wall Construction - SWFA Outdoors, Midlothian, TX
The video is a time lapse video illustrating the process UEB Builders recently took erecting tilt wall panels on the SWFA Outdoors project. The white exterior consists of temporary form liners holding the inset thin bricks. With the form liner technology in tilt wall construction, it is an obvious advantage over standard masonry construction when justified by a larger scale project. Typical advantages of Tilt Wall Construction (sometimes called Tilt-Up Construction):
- Form liners allow intricate masonry designs in concrete tilt wall construction without the time and cost of a standard masonry facade.
- Tilt wall is cost effective for large buildings, as repetitive walls can be formed and cast quickly.
- Tilt wall concrete is extremely durable. Many structures built in the 40’s are still in operation today.
- The fire resistance of even the most demanding building codes are met with tilt wall construction.
- The strength and control afforded by tilt up concrete walls allows for a very secure facility.
- Both temperature and sound insulation properties are better than other standard building types.
- Savings in construction cost typically improve even more as the scale of the building increases.
- Excellent application for warehouses, storage facilities, retail stores, office buildings, and education facilities and schools.
Form liners accept thin brick (masonry) inserts. Thin bricks
are actual bricks, but are less than an inch thick. When the concrete panel is
poured the thin brick is inset in the panel. When raised, the panel looks as if
it is a standard brick wall.
The two story building for SWFA Outdoors in Midlothian, TX
was designed by GSO Architects and is scheduled to open October of 2013.
